Volunteer Work Day 2017

We have awesome volunteers.
On Saturday, April 15, we accomplished over 100 hours of work together!

We removed invasive plants, spread wood chips on paths and around garden beds, set up the spring story trail, built insect houses, set up the Natural/Unnatural trail, swept bridges, trimmed alders & berries around the pond and along the trails, raked the lawn and cleaned perennial beds, sanded & painted picnic tables, made a stormwater trench, prepped biological educational materials. Indoors we cleaned and organized, entered months of bird observation data, and continued building a deep photographic record of the collection. In addition, we got to visit with a great group of people and share a meal (and snacks!) together. We even spent a few minutes with local wildlife.

Thanks again, everyone!
